KORTAN

Born in 1964 in Prag (Czech Republic), Frank KORTAN first started his artistic carrier as a musician. Since 1990 he has devoted his creativity to fine arts and graduated from Masaryk’s Academy of Fine Arts, Prag. 

 

His outstanding creations have been exhibited in many individual and collective exhibitions in Europe and are collected around the world.

 

Frank KORTAN’s can be appreciated in many prestigious museums around the world including, Albrecht Dürer Haus in Nuremberg (Germany), Monaco Modern Art Museum (Monaco), Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Santiago (Chile), Museo d'Arte Mendrisio (Switzerland), Levi Strauss Museum Buttenheim (Germany), and Bibliothéque Royale Albert I. Brussels (Belgium).

 

Frank KORTAN has already been recognized for his great talent and has been awarded numerous prizes, including EUROPEAN PRIZE for fine Arts by the European Union of Arts (2001), WORLD PRIZE OF SALVADOR DALÍ for Fine Arts by the Alliance Salvador Dalí International (2002), Prize of Rudolf II. for Fine Arts, Prag (2003).
