Born in Voronezh (Russia) in 1961, Sergeih Aparin graduated from the Art Institute of Voronezh, in 1981. Since 1991 he lives and works in Belgrade (Serbia). 

From 1981 to 1991, Sergej has displayed his artwork in numerous group exhibitions of young painters in St. Petersburg, Kiev and Moscow.

Since 1992, Sergei holds a solo exhibition nearly every year, in Serbia, Montenegro, Switzerland, Russia and Greece.

In 2005, he had two one man shows in New York.

Sergei’s creations are collected around the world including Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia, Germany, Netherlands, England, France, Italy, Switzerland, USA, and Canada.

Two of his paintings was acquired by the “International Center for Fantastic Art”, Château de Gruyères (Switzerland).
