Born in 1977 in Saitama (Japan), Yu learned graphic design and classical technique of oil and tempera in a design school of Tokyo. 
After graduation, he held an exhibition around Ginza of Tokyo. He mainly works on portraits metamorphosis. 

Since 2000 his works are regularly displayed in Japan.
His paintings are in private collections in Japan, Sweden and in the United States of America.
